Wave Together - Antwerp

This spring, MoMu - Fashion Museum Antwerp called on young people aged 16 to 23 with a passion for fashion and design to share their creations and passion through REVERSE.
The twenty selected young people were invited to a workshop week at DE SINGEL during the spring break. Guided by fashion experts and professionals, they created their own unique looks by upcycling deadstock fabrics. With this initiative, MoMu aims to not only help them develop their creative talents but also raise awareness about the environmental impact of fashion.

We’re always excited to support initiatives that nurture new talent and foster creative dialogue. That’s why we were thrilled when our Creative Director, Paola Barron, joined a panel of industry leaders at the recent Wave Together event held at Arenberg. The event brought together young designers from the REVERSE project, hosted by MoMu - Fashion Museum Antwerp, giving them the rare opportunity to engage with experienced professionals.

Paola, alongside experts such as Nadav Perlman, Lamine Diouf, MARIE Van Puyenbroeck, and Tom Eerebout, shared insights from her journey in the fashion industry. Their stories and expertise offered invaluable inspiration to the emerging designers.
