During the holiday season, shipments are paused in observance of Italian national holidays.
Please note that no orders will be shipped between December 24 and January 7 (inclusive). Orders placed during this period will be processed and dispatched as soon as regular shipping operations resume. We thank you for your understanding and wish you a restful holiday season.

Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through the readymade online shop. We are committed to delivering your materials safely, responsibly, and in compliance with applicable European regulations.

1. Processing Time

All orders are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your payment confirmation. In cases of high demand or special handling requirements, processing times may be extended. If your order is delayed beyond this timeframe, we will inform you via email.

2. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship within Italy, throughout the European Union, and internationally.

  • Free shipping is available only within Italy.

  • For EU and international destinations, shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

3. Shipping Methods, Delivery Times & Costs

Shipping options and delivery estimates are calculated during checkout based on the destination and weight/volume of the order. Delivery times are indicative only and not guaranteed.

Free Shipping in Italy
We offer free standard shipping on all orders delivered within Italy.

EU & International Shipping
For EU and international orders, shipping fees are applied at checkout and are based on weight, dimensions, and destination. These rates now reflect the actual costs we incur (including packaging and transport) to ensure fair pricing.

Bulk shipments (e.g., multiple rolls or full hides) may require pallet shipping. We will contact you in advance if special arrangements are necessary.

4. Packaging

Fabrics and leather are shipped rolled to protect the quality and structure of the materials. We use recyclable or minimal-impact packaging materials wherever possible.

5. Order Tracking

Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking information to update, depending on the courier.

6. Delivery Responsibility

Once goods are delivered to the address provided at checkout, risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer. READYMADE is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery is confirmed by the courier.

7. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties, import taxes, or other fees may apply. These are not included in the product or shipping price and are the customer’s responsibility. Customs delays may also affect delivery times.

8. Failed Deliveries

If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failure to collect, the customer will be responsible for return shipping and any re-delivery costs. Please verify your address carefully before placing an order.

9. Damages or Issues

If your order is damaged or incomplete upon arrival, contact us at shipping@readymadestudios.com within 5 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will assess and resolve the issue promptly.


10. Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)

In line with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, customers in the EU have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods. However, this right does not apply to custom orders, cut lengths, or altered materials, including fabric or leather sold by the meter, unless the item is faulty or not as described.
